Partial Inside Mount: For a partial inside mount, your blind will be installed inside the window frame. The valance will clip onto the top rail of the blind and extend beyond the window frame. It will connect to both the 1¼ inch return/side pieces. To ensure proper attachment at a right angle, the ends of the valance and side pieces will be cut at a 45° angle.

Size Deduction: To ensure the blinds can freely move within the window frame and to accommodate the mounting brackets, we will deduct 1/2 inch from the width you ordered. For example, if you ordered blinds that are 34 inches wide, they will arrive at 33 1/2 inches wide.

Proper Measurement Technique: Follow these steps to measure your window correctly: 1. For a fully flush installation, you need a flat mounting depth of 2 inches inside the window frame. 2. Measure the width of the window in three places: top, middle, and bottom. Use the narrowest measurement when placing your order. 3. Round down to the nearest 1/2 inch when selecting the width size. 4. Your blind will arrive with a 1/2 inch deduction. For example, if you choose a width of 34 1/2 inches, the blinds will be delivered at 34 inches wide.
